Game Descriptions

Every game I have played with a guest can be found below with a short description! Feel free to play with your friends and family! I am not taking complete ownership of any of the following games and some are based on other YouTube channels or shows.

1) Increasing Intriguing Interview

One person asks another person up to ten questions that don't have to relate or connect to one another. Their opponent will have only one word to answer the first question asked. For the second question, they will be allowed to speak two words. Whatever question number the pair is at is how many words the response will be.

Can be found in S1E01 starting at 11:45, S1E06 starting at 13:07 AND S2E05 starting at 10:15
2) True Be or Not True Be

Both players prepare two stories and write them on two separate index cards. Each story should be a life event that is only 1-2 sentences long, but one of them is not true yet still believable. Decide who will tell their story first and the other will pick which index card to read. After the story is read, their opponent has 60 seconds to ask as many questions as they can in hopes to determine if they are lying or telling the truth. Once the minute is up, a final decision is made and the person telling the story reveals whether it was true or not. Switch roles and play again!

Can be found in S1E01 starting at 18:32, S1E05 starting at 6:08, S1E10 starting at 18:51 AND S3E03 starting at 12:56

3) What I Like About You

Players alternate sharing positive things about their opponent. As soon as the first person finishes their first compliment, the second person must take over and say a compliment. After that, it goes back to the first player who comes up with a new compliment and it just goes back and forth until one of the players is out of nice things to say.

Can be found in S1E01 starting at 24:56, S1E06 starting at 32:50 AND S2E01 starting at 26:33

4) Wrong Answers Only

Players both prepare a PowerPoint presentation for each other with a couple of slides. On one slide, include a photo of a person (real or fictional), a thing, a place or anything else you know that your opponent knows very well. 5 slides for each player is usually enough, but do as many as you'd like! Then, present the slideshow and ask simple questions about the featured thing and the opponent's job is to only answer incorrectly! Any answer that is correct is considered wrong in this game!

Can be found in S1E01 starting at 32:13, S1E07 starting at 40:51, S1E12 starting at 12:06 AND S3E02 starting at 38:42

5) I Heard Your Life Flash Before My Ears

One person has two minutes to tell their life story from the very beginning to the time you are playing this game. Their opponent's job is to write down everything they can while they hear it. At the end of the 120 seconds, the person with the notes tries to correctly recite information that the story teller shared. Feel free to reverse the roles!

Can be found in S1E02 starting at 07:54, S1E10 starting at 9:29 AND S204 starting at 07:19.

6) Detecting Deceit

Each person thinks of four question to ask their opponent but the person creating the question doesn't know their opponent's answer. Each time a question is asked, the answer can be true or false, depending on what the opponent wants to do. The person asking the question can ask a follow-up question or two but must determine if their answer is true or false. Alternate asking questions until you both have no questions left.

Can be found in S1E02 starting at 16:51, S1E05 starting at 14:59 AND S1E13 starting at 11:51

7) Loud and Proud

Allow your friend to share anything that they are proud of! Then share something that you are proud of! No real rules or points or competition behind this one, just gives you both an opportunity to reflect on past accomplishments.

Can be found in S1E02 starting at 28:43, S1E07 starting at 18:12, S2E02 starting at 11:38 AND S3E03 starting at 30:40

8) Song Speculations

Each person finds a couple of songs to present in front of the other(s). Without revealing if you like or dislike the song, play a snippet from one of them while your opponent tries to decipher if you do have good or bad feelings towards the song. Whether your opponent tries to be blank-faced the whole time or just dance to whatever comes up, it can be tricky figuring it out!

Can be found in S1E02 starting at 35:20, S1E09 starting at 20:48 AND S1E13 starting at 27:12

9) Ten Tricky Testimonies

Both players prepare ten short sentences about themselves but you can decide which ones you make true and which ones you make false. Without telling your opponent, hold up one card at a time and their job is to decide if it's true or not. If you want an added challenge, only allow 60 seconds for each round, otherwise, however many sentences you correctly identify is 1 point and every one you get wrong is 0 points.

Can be found in S1E03 starting at 09:13, S1E07 starting at 8:05, S1E15 starting at 10:55, AND S3E02 starting at 15:44

10) The Bracket

Print out a blank bracket from Google and fill in up to 16 adjectives on one side and 16 nouns on the other side. Ask your friend to decide between the match-ups just like a tournament and narrow it down to one adjective-noun pair!

Can be found in S1E03 starting at 18:18 AND S1E10 starting at 30:06

11) One Cup of Inspiration and a Pinch of Motivation

Allow your friend to share anything that they motivates or inspires them to do their best! Then share something that motivates/inspires yourself! No real rules or points or competition behind this one, just gives you both an opportunity to reflect on how to remain motivated, even during weird times.

Can be found in S1E03 starting at 23:48 AND S1E12 starting at 31:06

12) Missing Message Memories

One or both players scroll through old messages between them and make a Powerpoint with a couple of those conversations that have some words blurred out. It can be recent or not so recent, but to make it a little easier, I would recommend to provide multiple choices of possible solutions.

Can be found in S1E03 starting at 29:14 AND S1E06 starting at 45:11 AND S2E01 starting at 49:14

13) Who Knows me Best

One or both players come up with up to 12 questions to ask their opponents. Questions can be easy or difficult, but to make it a little easier, I would recommend to provide multiple choices of possible solutions. Every correct answer is one point and whoever ends with the most points wins!

Can be found in S1E04 starting at 14:23, S1E11 starting at 16:06 AND S3E01 starting at 13:13

14) The Alphabet Scene!

Players act out a scene, alternating one line each. The tricky part is the first line spoken by either player has to start with an A. Then the second player's line must start with a B. If there is another player, their first line starts with a C. The scene rotates between each player and each line has to start with the next letter.

Can be found in S1E04 starting at 34:24 AND S1E08 starting at 26:08

Can be found in S1E04 starting at 44:55, S1E08 starting at 39:34 AND S2E03 starting at 41:02

17) Piano Pieces

Both or 1 player create a PowerPoint with piano instrumental tracks. The 1st snippet is only one second long, the next is slightly longer, and the one after that is longer than the first two. It's up to both players how many snippets or how long they are. My recommendation is 1 second, 3 seconds, 7 seconds, and 10 seconds. Play each snippet and ask your opponent to identify the song and if they can't, play the next one. More points should be awarded to those songs guessed quicker.

Can be found in S1E05 starting at 29:13 AND S2E05 starting at 29:24

18) What in the World?

Both or 1 player create a PowerPoint with various world trivia. Whether it's a picture of a blank map, a photo taken in the country or unscrambling the names, that's up to you! Can be as tricky and long as you'd like!

Can be found in S1E08 starting at 45:14 AND S3E01 starting at 26:32

23) One Word at a Time

This game works best with three players. One will ask the question and the other two must answer the question but alternate words. Meaning, if the first player asks the question, one person must start the first word of the answer but the third player must follow up with the second word.

Can be found in S1E09 starting at 13:05, S1E11 starting at 10:38 AND S2E03 starting at 35:22

Can be found in S1E12 starting at 38:03 AND S2E04 starting at 18:58

27) That's What I Was Going to Say!

One or all players come up with common phrases but remove at least one word from it. Then ask the other 2 players to say something that could go in the blank. The objective is to try to match what the other person is going to say. Example: Piece of ______ has many possibilities.

28) Complex Communication

One player thinks of an object and 3 clues for the object. They tell one of the other opponents without sharing it with the third player. 31) Stamp of Approval or Camp Disapproval

32) Determine that Doohickey!

Both players prepare 2 or 3 unique objects but they do not share what it is with their opponent. One at a time, they must explain to their friend what they brought and it's up to the other person to determine if they are telling the truth or lying. The more obscure the object, the more fun it is!

Can be found in S1E15 starting at 44:00 AND S2E04 starting at 38:08

33) Outsmart the OutLIAR

Both players prepare 3 stories that their opponent is not familiar with. While telling the story, think of ONE lie that you can sprinkle in slyly without your friend detecting it. Can be found in S2E01 starting at 8:38

34) Take a SPIN Down Memory Lane

Can be found in S2E02 starting at 24:14

35) I Know or Oh No!

Very similar to The Newly Wed Game, all players think of questions to ask their opponents that they don't know the answers to and send the list of questions ahead of time. Once every player has the questions answered, their opponent(s) will attempt to guess what their response was and determine how well they know each other!

Can be found in S2E03 starting at 23:26

36) Positivity Pointers

Both players think of three or more pieces of advice about remaining positive. They don't have to be very long and can be general so anyone who is listening can relate to it. The comments can include how to stay optimistic, something encouraging to hear, or just what makes you happy! Have fun comparing what you prepared versus what your opponent thought of!

Can be found in S2E04 starting at 27:07

37) You Laugh You Lose

All players prepare any number of jokes without the others knowing what is coming. Take turns sharing a joke, attempting to get the other players to laugh or smile. The person who laughs the least after all jokes are shared is the winner!

Can be found in S2E05 starting at 44:05

38) Sixty-Second Showdown

2 or more players think of categories (for example: Disney movies, colors, etc.) and they take turns listing words that belong in that category. A timer is set for 60 seconds, whoever is still thinking of an answer when it goes off loses a point. More rounds = more fun!
